No lunch visitors on the last week of school May 18th - May 20th.

Last day of school May 20th and dismissal begins at 12:30pm.

Parents and Families,

Can you believe we are heading into the final week of school! What an incredible year it has been at W.M. Irvin Elementary. From classroom celebrations and learning milestones to school events and special memories, this year has truly been filled with growth, laughter, and Eagle pride.

Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership throughout the school year. Our students’ success would not be possible without our amazing families.

As we enter this busy final week, please remember that there will be no lunch visitors on campus. We appreciate your help in keeping our hallways and classrooms focused and running smoothly as we finish strong.

On the Last Day of School, Wednesday, May 20th, dismissal will begin at 12:30 PM.

Thank you again for sharing your children with us each day—it has truly been a wonderful year. We look forward to finishing strong and making these last days together memorable.

Graduation News:

Families of Kindergarten and 5th grade students:

Kindergarten Moving-Up Ceremony: Tuesday, May 19th: Sign-in Begins: 8:15am - Ceremony Starts: 9:00am

5th grade Graduation: Wednesday, May 20th: Sign-in Begins: 7:45am - Ceremony Starts: 8:30am

Sign-in Tables will be in the Front Foyer, please have your ids ready.

Ceremony Location: Cafeteria

Reception: in Courtyard

📝 End-of-Year Testing Updates

We had a great week of EOG testing and retesting, and we are so proud of our students for their hard work and perseverance! We will complete a few remaining make-up tests and retests this week as we wrap up our testing season.

EOG results will be shared with families on Wednesday through ParentSquare.

Positivity Project (P2) - Spiral Review Week

Dear Families,

This week, we will our P2 Review Week, where we will revisit and highlight important character strengths that help our students grow both academically and personally. Throughout the week, we will focus on Purpose, Appreciation of Beauty & Excellence, Enthusiasm, and Leadership

Teachers will re-explore these character strengths with students, helping them make meaningful connections to how these traits can be demonstrated in their everyday lives. Students will also engage in Project-Based Learning (PBL) activities designed to reinforce and apply these strengths in real-world situations.

We look forward to a week of reflection, growth, and celebration of the positive character our students show each day!

KIDS:PLUS Hiring

Here at our school, we have a need for both before and after school Kids:Plus staff members. The demand is high for morning and afternoon care, and with vacancies in both of these timeframes, we have a LONG waitlist that includes families/students who have attended Kids:Plus for years here at WM Irvin.
